В главе, описывающей ошибочные представления о гипно­зе, коротко рассматривается потенциальный вред гипнотического лечения. Там я обратил внимание на то, что гипноз это инструмент, а не терапия и он может быть применен умело или неумело — на­нося вред клиенту. Это накладывает на терапевта полную ответст­венность сохранения осторожности и чувствительности во время применения гипнотических техник.
