11. Биологический подход к гипнозу. Тесный контакт между соз­нанием и телом хорошо заметный во взаимоотношениях, осно­ванных на гипнозе, привел к возникновению теории о биологи­ческой основе гипноза. Шпигель и Шпигель (1987) за основу гипнотической податливости приняли качество контакта между полушариями мозга. Росси (1982, 1991) пришел к выводу, что естественный биологический цикл попеременной концентрации внимания и его спада (ультрасуточный ритм), физиологически наступающий каждые от 90 до 150 минут, входит в состав су­точного цикла функционирования организма (известного под названием околосуточного ритма). Ультрасуточный ритм был признан, здесь, биологической основой гипнотического состоя­ния. Вацлавик (1978) описал гипноз как результат асимметрии полушарий мозга, имея в виду, что гипнотическая индукция ве­дет к ослаблению левого полушария мозга (ответственного за рациональное мышление), заставляя исполнять доминирующую роль правое полушарие (ответственное за впечатления и интуи­тивные процессы).
